Drummer's Sword

The Drummers Mark II with brass hilt and scabbard mounts had an 1888 Lee Metford shaped blade and was introduced in 1895. This sword was loosely based on the previous Drummer pattern, which was declared obsolete. Interestingly, List of Changes of 1901 stated that all swords include drummers must be sharpened ‘before going on service.’
